Own Your Masters as Music NFTs.
Sell Shares to Your Fans.
On the Ownership tier (€59.90, one-time) every track you release is minted as 100 Music NFTs on Ethereum — 85 land in your wallet. Verifiable master-rights ownership you can sell to fans and investors, 85% of net revenue forever, and never a subscription. Start distributing from €19 and upgrade anytime.
What does “owning your masters” actually mean?
Your master is the original recording of your song — the asset every stream, sync placement, and licence pays out from. With traditional distributors you upload, they collect, and you own nothing you can prove, sell, or pass on. Artyfile mints your master rights as 100 Music NFTs per track on the Ethereum blockchain: 85 go to you, 15 stay with Artyfile for distribution infrastructure. The result is ownership you can verify on-chain, transfer, or sell in fractions — without giving up your 85% net revenue, which applies on every tier.
How on-chain ownership works
Three steps from submission to a master you genuinely own — no gatekeepers, no recurring fees.
- 01
Get accepted, then release
Apply with your track (free — you pay only if accepted). After our A&R review you submit a studio-quality WAV, and your music goes live on 150+ platforms, Artyfile Stream, and the sync marketplace.
- 02
100 Music NFTs minted on Ethereum
On the Ownership and Album tiers we tokenise each track into 100 Music NFTs and deliver 85 straight to your wallet within 24 hours. Your ownership is cryptographically secured and publicly verifiable — no opaque royalty statements.
- 03
Hold, trade, or sell shares
Keep all 85 shares, or sell any portion to fans and investors. Buyers earn alongside you from streaming, Artyfile Stream, and sync revenue. Shares are tradable on OpenSea and Rarible, with every transfer logged on-chain.
Renting vs. owning your music
Subscription distributors rent you a listing. Artyfile gives you an asset.
| Subscription distributors | Artyfile Ownership | |
|---|---|---|
| Do you own a sellable asset? | No — just a listing | Yes — 85 Music NFTs per track |
| Proof of ownership | A dashboard entry | On-chain, publicly verifiable |
| Can you sell shares to fans? | Not possible | Yes — any percentage of your 85 |
| What happens if you stop paying? | Music is removed | Yours forever — one-time payment |
| Net revenue to you | Varies | 85% on every tier |
Turn fans into co-owners
Selling a few NFT shares of a track is patronage with upside: your most dedicated fans can own a real piece of your master and earn when it does. It funds your next release without a label advance — and it turns supporters into people with a stake in your success.
- ✓Raise money for your next release by selling shares — not signing away your rights
- ✓Fans earn from streaming, Artyfile Stream, and sync placements alongside you
- ✓Every share and payout is transparent and verifiable on-chain
- ✓You decide how much to sell — keep majority control of your masters

Music-ownership FAQ
How do I own my masters with Artyfile?
On the Ownership (€59.90) and Album (€149) tiers, each track is minted as 100 Music NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. You receive 85 of them — representing 85% ownership of your master rights — delivered to your wallet within 24 hours. Ownership is verifiable on-chain and yours permanently; there are no recurring fees and you keep 85% of net revenue.
What is a Music NFT, in plain terms?
A Music NFT is a blockchain token that represents a verifiable share of ownership in your master recording. It is not a JPEG or a speculative collectible — each of your 100 tokens is a 1% stake that entitles its holder to that share of the track’s streaming, Artyfile Stream, and sync revenue. You hold 85 of the 100.
Can I sell shares of my songs to fans?
Yes. You can sell any portion of your 85 NFT shares to fans, investors, or collaborators — and keep the rest. This creates immediate funding from your catalogue without a label deal, and lets supporters earn alongside you. Shares are tradable on OpenSea and Rarible, with every transfer logged on-chain.
Do buyers of my shares own my music?
They own a revenue share of that specific master, not your creative rights or your catalogue. You keep majority ownership (you decide how much to sell), control your releases, and remain the artist. Buyers simply earn their proportional share of that track’s net revenue.
Do I need crypto or a wallet to start?
You apply and distribute exactly like any other release — no crypto knowledge needed. When your NFTs are minted we deliver them to a wallet; we walk you through setup if you don’t have one. If you’d rather skip minting entirely for now, start on the €19 Launch tier (distribution only) and upgrade to Ownership later for €39.
Is this “GEMA-frei” music?
No. Artyfile music is registered with GEMA and other collecting societies for worldwide monitoring. Sync and master rights are managed directly by Artyfile, so licensees pay no additional GEMA fees — but composers remain GEMA members. This is not “GEMA-frei” music.
What does it cost, and do I keep 85% on every tier?
Ownership is a one-time €59.90 per track and mints your 100 Music NFTs (85 to you). Album covers up to 5 tracks for €149, all minted (~€30/track). The €19 Launch tier distributes without minting and can be upgraded for €39. You keep 85% of net revenue on all three tiers — one-time, never a subscription.
